On my next trip to WDW I would like to purchase Disney themed beads to make jewelry. Is there a place that sells Disney themed beads?

    Hi Kimberly,

I'm not sure what level of jewelery making you're interested in, but I can tell you that there are some individual beads and charms sold at Walt Disney World, but I have never seen packets or strands of beads for sale.

There are relatively expensive gold and silver charms and Chamilla-style beads sold in Uptown Jewelers on Main Street in the Magic Kingdom, as well as at Mouse Gear at Epcot and the World of Disney Store at Downtown Disney.

You can also find more modest charms and beads, intended for children, for sale at those same shops, and at many more as well.

You can find photos of what I'm talking about if you go to the independent website blog.touringplans.com. Search there for an article called "Custom Souvenirs: Don't Come Home with the Same Thing Everyone Else Has." If you click on the photos in the article, it will enlarge them for more detail.

I hope this helps. Please let us know if you have additional questions.
