Mom and Daughter at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort Room

    Our next trip to Disney we will be traveling with three children ages 7,5 and 2. Can you tell me which resorts will accommodate us with one room?

    Hi Kristy,

    Given the ages of your children, you can "legally" stay in one room at any Disney resort hotel. Even the smallest value resort rooms allow four people PLUS one child under the age of three sleeping in a Pack n' Play crib. Since your youngest is under age three, this means you can stay anywhere.

    However, I have to say that your family might be somewhat uncomfortable in a standard room at the All Stars or Pop Century. The rooms there are fairly small and only have double (not queen) sized beds, so it would be quite tight. The next step up would be a moderate resort, where the rooms have more square footage and there are queen-sized beds. Some rooms at the Port Orleans Riverside resort have small pull-down Murphy beds, which add a third sleep surface to the room that's perfect for a child.

    Most of the deluxe resorts sleep five easily with two queen beds plus a twin-size convertible daybed. You may also want to consider the Family Suites at the All Star Music or Art of Animation resorts. These sleep families of five or six quite comfortably and have two bathrooms, which can be a BIG help when you're trying to get out the door.
