Hi there, Danielle!
By
Walt Disney World standards, children for the purposes of
theme park tickets and the
Disney Dining Plan are ages 3-9, so your daughter would get "adult" credits for the dining plan. In most cases, you can just ask your server at any of the
table service restaurants you wish to experience, and they will provide her with both an adult menu and a children's menu. I have seen many servers bring an older child items off of the children's menus - maybe with a few extra fries or chicken nuggets to accommodate a growing child's appetite.
With counter service dining locations, it won't matter at all. You can order whatever you like there, without anyone questioning whether you've ordered from the children's menu or the adult menu.
Don't forget to make any table service dining reservations as soon as you can when your 180 day window opens. Some of the dining experiences can be tough to get a reservation for, and I hate hearing that people are disappointed when they don't get their favorite!
Have a great time, Danielle!
Anna
