The next time we will be doing the penny presses. Thought it would be a fun idea to find out when each resort was built or opened, & getting pennies from each year to do the penny presses. Can't find Y&BC year, could you help?

Hi, Judy! I am im"pressed" at your great idea! Pressed pennies are fantastic souvenir collection to start with your family. Our girls keep an eye out for the machines at all times – an even sharper eye than they use for their Hidden Mickey search. I do have a little pressed penny tip for you. Start your collection before you even leave for your vacation by collecting small candy tubes; think along the lines of the miniature chocolate-covered candies. You can find these at the check-out lines in your grocery store or gas station. They are the perfect size for storing your special pennies so that you will not accidentally use them on your trip.

You should be able to find pressed penny machines right outside Beaches & Cream Soda Shop at Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resorts. There, you will be able to get your coin pressed with either Disney’s Beach Club Resort logo or Disney’s Yacht Club Resort logo. Since you would like to use pennies made from the same year the Resorts were opened, you will want to bring pennies from 1990.

I hope you have so much fun working on your pressed penny collection, Judy. Stop by again anytime if you need to "press" us for more information!
