    Next June my husband and I will be taking our first cruise to the Barcelona. We will be arriving a day before the cruise,how can we find a hotel and transportation to the cruise boat?

    Welcome aboard, Christine! I'm so excited to hear that you will be setting sail for what is sure to be one very magical European cruise with Disney Cruise Line next summer! I was fortunate enough to be over in Europe with Disney Cruise Line last month and got to check out some of the amazing ports and Port Adventures that are available for guests. I absolutely loved that guests didn't have to wait to set foot off the boat in port before experiencing the culture of that particular country. Disney does an excellent job of incorporating cultural experiences for all ages onboard, from special country-themed menus to events and activities revolving around the culture of the upcoming port, you'll really be immersed in the experience!

    If you booked your cruise through Disney Cruise Line, simply give them a call to add a pre-cruise hotel stay with ground transportation. Your travel agent can assist you with these reservations if you used a travel agent. Disney Cruise Line partners with both the Hilton Diagonal Mar Barcelona and the Renaissance Barcelona Hotel for pre and post-cruise stays. In addition to these hotel partners, you can let Disney arrange ground transportation from the airport to hotel and hotel to port, which certainly takes the stress out of arriving and departing. Currently, there is a $30 per person additional charge per segment of transportation.
