Next Feb. we'll be staying at AKV in the Club Level. We are wondering if we should purchase a dining plan to supplement the snacks and food that's available with the Club Level. We are not big eaters. Is the food at the Club Level enough for full meals?

    Tim,

Yes, technically you could forage at the club level enough to probably fulfill most meals. But there is a huge downside. You would have to continually be leaving the park to return to your resort just to dine.

My suggestion is that you plan on fulfilling your breakfast there most mornings. You might even have the better part of dinner, snacking there before returning to the parks for the evening after some afternoon down-time back at your resort. But I think that even then you will find yourself getting at least one meal per day in the parks, even if it is just quick service.

But I would not buy a dining plan, based on your group not being big eaters. I would say that you pay out-of-pocket for any meals that you would want to have in the park, as it will save you money over the dining plan in the long run. The savings only come if you really take full advantage of all the food provided at the respective meals.

I hope that this helps? Write us back if you have any follow-up questions.

Have a magical (and delicious) vacation!
