Thanks for stopping back to see us at planDisney. I am so excited you asked about the newest attraction at
EPCOT as it has quickly become one of our absolute favorite rides ever!
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is a fast paced, family thrill attraction that takes Guests on an out of this world race through the galaxy. What starts out as a chance to learn more about Xandar, quickly gets derailed as a space nemesis makes off with the Cosmic Generator. No fear though, the Guardians of the Galaxy will save the day - as long as you are willing to lend a hand. Guests join Star-Lord, Rocket and the gang on a race through the galaxy to capture the bad guy and regain the generator.
While the attraction does include a reverse launch (so cool!) and cars that rotate a complete 360 degrees, it does not go upside down. It is fairly fast-paced but if you have been able to tackle any of the other
Walt Disney World Resort thrill rides (like Space Mountain or Expedition Everest), you should have no problem helping the Guardians save the day! The effects throughout this attraction are fantastic and the ride is not like anything we have ever experienced before. It is definitely an "out of this world" time! If you are still concerned, you may want to do a quick internet search for other Guests videos of their time on the ride. While it is not the same as experiencing it yourself, it will give you an idea of what the ride will be like.
