    Hello, when will the new Riviera Resort be open and what type of resort will it be, value, deluxe, club level or not? Thank you

    Hi there, Kim!

    There's always something exciting going on when you are a Disney Vacation Club member. I always look forward to the opening of a new resort, and the brand new Disney Riviera Resort looks to be just as wonderful as all of the other Disney Vacation Club destinations. 

    As with other DVC resorts, they like to keep things a surprise. What I can tell you is that the resort is scheduled to open in the fall of 2019 with nearly 300 guest rooms of various types of accommodations. The part I am most excited about is the incredible new skyway transportation system, the Disney Skyliner. This will connect the new resort to other areas around Walt Disney World. It's gonna be so cool!

    I hope you'll follow along at the Disney Vacation Club Member website for updates on the new resort, and keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for news and announcements. I can't wait!
