Congratulations on a new phone! It’s both fun and frustrating when you get a new phone, isn’t it? On your new device, be sure you have loaded the
MyDisneyExperience mobile app. Then, you will need to sign in with your email and password.
Because the
MyDisneyExperience website and mobile app “talk” to each other, by logging in, all your information will be in your account on the new phone. Your MagicBands that were linked before you had the new phone will still be linked to your account, it is not tied to a specific phone. You do not need to enter the MagicBand number into MyDisneyExperience again.
When you are in a theme park, you will use your MyDisneyExperience mobile app for lots of things. This means your battery will be draining all day. You might consider
purchasing a FuelRod from one of the kiosks inside the parks. These small chargers run about $30, and you can exchange a dead one for a fully charged one in any theme park, at Disney Springs, and at many of the Walt Disney World resorts. This has saved me on more than one occasion (just don’t forget to have a cord to plug into it!).
