With the new park reservations, can we still leave and return to the park the same day?

    Barbara,

    Thanks for your question!

This is a very common question with the arrival of the new Disney Park Pass system. The answer is YES, you can leave and return to your park on that same day.

Even when the Park Hopper option was available, my family rarely went to a second park in a given day. Instead we made a planning game out of what we would save for our evening return to each of the different parks. We would identify what attractions and lands had we not yet explored at night, and what might benefit from the cooler hours and setting of the sun. Here are a few of our favorites.

    • Magic Kingdom: Just before you plummet down the flume ride of Splash Mountain, the view of the park at night is simply amazing. You see so much of it lit up before you, from a high perch, and from an angle few think to try out.
    • EPCOT: While the facades of the pavilions of the World Showcase do light up beautifully at night, we enjoy exploring the back areas of the different lands at night. The meandering alleys of the United Kingdom, Morocco, and Canada pavilions truly make you feel like you have navigated the globe in a single night.
    • Disney's Hollywood Studios: The streets of Hollywood Boulevard and Sunset Boulevard at night shimmer with all the glamour of the golden age of movies. It is a great place to shop, snack, and take in the lights.
    • Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park: Visit Pandora at night, and you will never want to go back in the daylight again. The bio-luminescent flora makes for a magical, exotic evening.
    Have a Magical Vacation!
