Hi there, Tara! Greetings from everyone here at planDisney! We are so excited that you’ve taken the time to stop by and allow us to help you plan your visit to Walt Disney World Resort!
Walt Disney World Resort is back open and just as magical as ever! With the continued re-opening, there have been some
updated policies and modified experiences to make sure each and every Guest is safe during their vacation. This can be seen through enhanced cleaning procedures, temporary adjustments to promote physical distancing, and modified experiences to reduce contact. Additionally, Guests will be required to have a theme park reservation in addition to their valid theme park tickets in order to enter a park each day. Theme park reservations are incredibly easy to make through the
Disney Park Pass system and may be created as soon as you have purchased tickets!
As long as you have theme park reservations for a specific theme park, you will be allowed to leave and re-enter as you please. This means you should have no issue visiting your chosen theme park earlier in the day before leaving eat and then returning later that same day. In fact, this is one of my personal favorite strategies when visiting the parks! I love entering at “rope drop” and then returning to our
Disney Resort hotel for a bit of rest before our evening adventures!
If you do intend on visiting a different theme park than your initial choice, you may now do so as long as you have
Park Hopper benefits! Park Hopper hours begin at 2:00 pm each day and continue until the end of the park’s scheduled hours. This option is subject to each theme park’s capacity limits. If you plan on taking advantage of this perk, I highly recommend downloading the
My Disney Experience app so you can be notified in real-time if a theme park reaches capacity!
I hope you have a practically perfect vacation to Walt Disney World Resort this May! Please let us know if we can assist with planning any other portion of your vacation!
