HI NEW MOMS! I was looking into the 50's prime time cafe. I am visiting "Jersey week" and was wondering if i should make a ADR or just show up. If so, how far ahead can/should i call? Also, can you give me some favorites from the menu. THANKS

Hi, Christy!  As a Jersey Mom, I know a lot of families that plan their annual trip to Disney during this week when most of the public schools in the state have days off for the teacher convention.  It's a great time to be at Walt Disney World, but it can get a little crowded with my Jersey neighbors, so I would recommend that you book an advanced dining reservation for the 50s Prime Time Cafe.  It is already a popular meal, so when the parks are busier, it can be tough to get a table there.  You can make your reservation up to 90 days in advance.

My husband absolutely LOVES the onion rings at 50s Prime Time Cafe, and we tend to favor the comfort foods on the menu.  I had an aunt who owned a restaurant in the Outer Banks of North Carolina, and the fried chicken at Prime Time is almost as good as my Aunt Annie used to make!  Another menu favorite - especially of my oldest daughter - is Mom's Old Fashioned Pot Roast.

If you've finished all of your vegetables, and saved room for dessert, Grandpa's Bread Pudding is a hit with my girls every time!

    Have a great vacation!
