Hey Howdy Hey Ashley and welcome to planDisney!
The recent release of
Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Single Pass options allows Guests to plan their day a little bit easier before they get to the parks. This is a huge benefit and time saver when planning your must-dos in the parks. While this process does sound great, there are some details such as park hopping that we need to clear up. You've got a friend in me Ashley to give you the details!
When purchasing Lightning Lane Multi Pass, at this time there is only one option to select the park you want to start with. When it comes to preplanning your first 3 selections, you need to make them in the same park you start in. Once you begin to make your same-day selection, that rolling one you get for the rest of the day, can be in any park at no extra cost. I see that you plan to visit in June of next year so this covers the process as it stands right now. Keep up with Disney Parks on social media as well as the
Disney Parks Blog for any changes to the process.
Another thing to remember is that while the process for Lightning Lanes has changed,
Virtual Queues have not. Some attractions such as Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind in EPCOT do not have traditional stand-by lines and are only accessible via Lightning Lane Single Pass or Virtual Queues. Virtual Queues can be accessed starting at 7:00 AM from anywhere and again at 1:00 PM from inside the park of the attraction you want to experience.
I hope this helps to explain the current situation but continue to follow along with any changes that may be made to the process before your trip. Please let us know if you have any other questions, we are always happy to help!
To Infinity and Beyond,
Nick
