Hi Brandi,
It's almost time for your next visit. Hooray! I'm happy for you and just a
little jealous since I won't be back till September. It's so exciting that you'll be able to experience some of the
new summer offerings and utilize the
new Lighting Lane Multi Pass and Single Pass advance planning features!
Initially, these revamped versions of Disney Genie+ Service and Individual Lightning Lane, respectively, were announced as only being available to guests physically inside the US. More recently, our team of panelists received confirmation that Canadians could continue purchasing and planning using their My Disney Experience Mobile App, just like they can today. This suggests that Canadians will be able to access the advance planning functionality even before arriving in the US. As always, things are subject to change, but that its the latest information available at this time.
Now, though you can likely enjoy planning before your eligible resort check-in date, you won't get a full 7 days for this particular visit. The changes launch on July 24, 2024, but no one will have pre-planning access before that date. With a check-in date of July 29, you'll be able to begin purchasing Multi Pass and/or Single Pass experiences 5 days early when the system officially launches on July 24. You should be able to utilize the full 7 days for future visits, once this initial transition period is complete.
When changes go live you'll be able to begin planning for ticketed days during your length of stay, up to 14 days, at 7 a.m. EST. Once you make plans for your first day, you can continue choosing new dates from the calendar and repeat the selection process. Be sure to review the attraction groupings associated with experiences at
Magic Kingdom Park, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and EPCOT.
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park will not have attraction grouping restrictions.
Brandi, I hope this was helpful. Please come back and see us again with more planning questions. Wishing you a wonderful visit!
Magic and memories,
Amy
