Hello, Philip!
Welcome aboard planDisney! Cruising to a new destination is incredibly exciting, but it also means we don't have quite as much information yet as I would like. But I'll do my best to help you chart a course for success!
I have no doubt that
Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point is going to be a stunning place to relax in the sun and enjoy the beautiful Bahamian culture! The
Information for Guests with Disabilities or Medical Conditions Guide has not been updated to include this new port of call, but I hope that it will be soon. Disney Cruise Line works hard to help every guest have a wonderful cruise! I would suggest that you
contact Disney Cruise Line Special Services directly to speak with a Cast Member about your specific needs. They will do their very best to help you sail smoothly!
As far as renting tubes or other floatation devices, I don't see any
Port Adventures for renting that type of equipment at the moment. That's another great question for the Cast Member at Special Services. I do want to point out that
inflatable floats aren't permitted on the ships, so you won't be able to bring your own. I hope there will be a good solution on the island for you!
While I'm sure it feels like your cruise is getting very close, you do have a little time left before setting sail. I would watch the Disney Parks Blog for additional news, like this
fun post full of updates and this
really cool guide to wildlife on the island. I'm especially excited about watching for land crabs on the beach!
Philip, I wish I had a more solid answer for you. Please reach out to Disney Cruise Line Special Services so that they can help you plan for an amazing cruise! Thanks again for visiting, I hope you'll breeze by again if you have more questions.
Keep moving forward!
Amanda
