We will have a new grandchild that will be 2 months old when we travel to Disney World in 2014. We made dining reservations for our party of 10. Do we need to change our dining reservation to include a seat for the new baby to make a party of 11?

    Hi Joyce!

A vacation to Walt Disney World is a wonderful way to spend family time with children of all ages.  Traveling with children, grandchildren and grandparents enables you to create memories and experiences on attractions, with characters and within the parks and resorts that will last a lifetime.

The recommendation for guests when reserving dining experiences is to account for all persons seated at the dining time, including infants, whether they require high chair or not.  Seeing as when you made your reservation, your grandchild was not born as of yet, so there is no need to modify the reservation at this time.  In this particular case, it is acceptable to arrive at the restaurant and alert the Cast Member that you will need an additional seat for your new addition!

Hope this helps you plan your magical vacation!

Hi there! The Disney Parks have been a part of my life since I was a little girl. Introducing my children, husband, and family to all the magic that Walt Disney World can offer has led to countless moments with Mickey and Friends, Disney Vacation Club membership and fun on the high seas with Disney Cruise Lines! Our vacations are usually centered around a visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth, and I am super excited to help you plan and create magical moments for you and your families!
