We are new DVC members and are so excited to be planning our spring break trip! Can we pay a fee for housekeeping services if we would still like them to clean the room during our stay (beyond just trash removal and changing the linens/towels on day 4)?

Welcome home, DeeAnn! Congratulations on your recent Disney Vacation Club purchase. I hope you're as happy with your new membership as we have been with ours.

Disney Vacation Club members do get a daily check for trash, and then every fourth day, you'll get fresh linens and a replenishment of things like laundry soap, dish soap, and toiletries. There is a full cleaning on Day 8 if you plan a longer stay.

You can pay an additional fee for a regular housekeeping schedule, which will include the standard tidying up, making beds, cleaning the bathrooms, etc. There is also an option to just pay extra for daily trash and towel service. This would include replacing liners in all of the trash cans, as opposed to just emptying them, and replacing your towels daily.

The cost for the service varies by the type of accommodations, and which service you choose. Trash and towel service starts at $10 per day for a studio room and goes up to $30 for a grand villa. The full housekeeping service is $30 per day in a studio, and the price goes up to $75 for a grand villa.

We have never used the additional services. Accommodations larger than a studio all have washers and dryers, so I throw towels in each morning and dry them when we come back at night. I also bring the pod laundry and dish soap with me, so that never needs to be replenished. We spend more time at our resort since becoming DVC members, and I like not having to usher everyone out so as not to disturb housekeeping.

Enjoy every magical moment with your new DVC membership, DeeAnn!
