Hi, we are new DVC members. What is the cost of the Gold AP and how much does it cost?

    Hi Joshua!

Congratulations on becoming new Disney Vacation Club Members! We love the discount for Members on Walt Disney World Annual Passes, and by scheduling our yearly vacations just under a year apart, we find them to be a great value.

The new Disney Gold Pass is available to Florida Residents and Disney Vacation Club Members. Pricing is always subject to change, but as of today, a Gold Pass with tax is $584.69.  Please do note that the Gold Pass has the following blackout dates: December 17, 2015 - January 1, 2016 and March 19, 2016 - April 1, 2016. While they aren’t any additional dates listed, I would imagine that they might add blackout dates for next December if you purchase later, so please keep that in mind.  If you will not be affected by the blackout dates, I think the Disney Gold Pass is a great option. To make the deal even sweeter, the Disney Gold Pass now includes your PhotoPass photos!

To purchase a Disney Gold Pass, you can call Disney Vacation Club Member Services, or purchase online from the Ticket Store. To have access to the Disney Gold Pass, you’ll need to be sure you have a My Disney Experience account and that your Membership is linked to your account under Memberships & Passes. You can see this in My Disney Experience under My Profile. Once you arrive at the Walt Disney World Resort, you will need to activate your Annual Passes by visiting a Guest Relations Window outside a theme park or in Disney Springs. Bring your Magic Bands, a Photo ID for each adult in your family and your Disney Vacation Club Membership Card.

I hope this helps with your planning, Joshua. Please come back and visit the Disney Vacation Club Moms Panelists with any additional questions, we love to help our fellow Members. Congratulations again, and let me be one of the very first to wish you a warm, “Welcome Home!”
