I am a new DVC member and unfamiliar with what to do with 50 extra points that expire this month of February?

    Hi Dana,

Welcome Home! I hope you enjoy many vacations with Disney Vacation Club as my family has.

With the end of your use year rapidly approaching, you are limited as to how use the points. You could make a quick getaway to a Disney Vacation Club property by the end of the month.

You could also do a nightly exchange with RCI which has hotels across the country. You can see a list of available properties at the member website at www.dvcmember.com. There is a non-refundable $95 transaction fee for each confirmed exchange.

If you can not use the points, you can also book a reservation for a guest to use by the end of February.

Either way, call Member Services at 1-800-800-9800 as soon a possible to come up with a strategy. In addition, the member advisor can  help you manage your points in the future with great tips.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
