Tree of Life at Sunset at Disney's Animal Kingdom

    I am a new DVC member & going to my 1st moonlight Magic event at epcot & animal kingdom. I haven’t purchased park tickets yet.Since I’m only going for 5 days and 2 days are during Magic should I still get park hopper or plan one day park visits

    Hello Irene, welcome back to planDisney!

    It looks like your magical trip is just around the corner and let me say, how incredible that you are attending not one, but two Disney Vacation Club Moonlight Magic events! Moonlight Magic is one of my favorite DVC special offerings for many reasons: it's an exclusive after-hours complimentary evening with shorter-than-usual wait times, Character greets, entertainment, and treats.

    My family likes to relax on the event day, take advantage of the early entry for the Moonlight Magic events and enter the theme park as early as the ticket allows. For next week's events, the times are as follows:

    • The EPCOT event is from 10:00 PM until 1:00 AM. Check-in starts at 7:00 PM.

    If you instead choose to also use a park ticket on the event day, you do not need to exit and re-enter the park to check in for the event. There will be a station inside each park where DVC Members who are registered for the event can check in and get their event wristband and food voucher. The Cast Members will also have park maps that are specific to the Moonlight Magic event. They will list all info for dining (as not all restaurants and snack locations will be open during the event).
