First timer Star Wars Nite! Are there any special experiences (reservations required) specific to this event that are not available during normal operating hours? With the 60 day window coming up, I'm preparing. Any other event recommendations welcome

    Hi there, Christine!

Welcome back to planDisney! I am happy to answer another question from you!

Being a first-time voyager to Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite will be an out-of-this-world experience! I just checked the available dining options on the first couple of Star Wars Nites, and it does not look like any Table Service Restaurant reservations are currently available during those events. In my experience, reservations are not usually needed for most offerings during Star Wars Nite. However, I suggest reviewing the dining options 60 days before the event just in case a dinner option becomes available. There is often one Table Service Restaurant meal option, although I usually eat ahead of time or grab a Quick Service meal to focus on the other experiences during these limited-time events.

In the past, there were a variety of food and beverage offerings from Quick Service locations that Guests could mobile order using the Disneyland mobile app. On the day of the event, I suggest checking the app to see what mobile ordering options are available. Place your order early in the day to avoid missing out on your preferred snacks!

For all Disneyland After Dark events, I suggest reviewing the event page and making a list of your priorities ahead of time. There are so many things to see and do that it is almost impossible to experience them all. I like focusing on Disney PhotoPass opportunities with my favorite characters, and my kids enjoy riding as many attractions as possible with low wait times. If you have a lightsaber (or even if you don't), the Gathering of the Resistance with Rey is a spectacular sight with countless lightsabers shining in the darkness! If dancing is more your style, make sure to check out the Galactic DJ Party Zone on Main Street, U.S.A..

General admission tickets for Star Wars Nite go on sale on February 23, 2024. It is a popular event and sells out quickly, so I suggest trying to purchase tickets as soon as possible. Also, keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog and the Star Wars Nite event page for more details about these galactic experiences!

Christine, I hope these were the (information) droids you were looking for! If you have additional questions, please contact us at planDisney.

May the Force be with you!
