New to DVC and first dvc trip is in just 36 days at BCV, yay! Q is actually about next yr. Thinking of trying HHI or DVero Beach. which would you suggest? 3 kids, 8,5,3. Does booking work same way? What about dining plans, are they offered there?

    Hi Michelle,

Welcome Home! My family really enjoyed staying at Beach Club Villas (BCV) last Memorial Day weekend. With the great pool which is a mini-waterpark, fabulous location to easily get to Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios and the "kitchen sink", it is a family favorite.

I have never stayed at either Hilton Head or Vero Beach. I can tell you some information about both and then you can decide. Neither one offers the Disney Dining Plan. However, you book them as you would with any other Disney Vacation Club resort-11 months out if it is your home resort and seven months out if it is not. Both offer you the Disney standard.

Hilton Head is located near the beach in South Carolina. There is a shuttle to take you to and from the beach and there are other activities on site. There is no restaurant on this property but you can easily walk to other dining options. Charleston, SC is about two hours away and it makes for a nice day trip.

Vero Beach is located right on the Atlantic Ocean. This property has two restaurants and a bar which makes grabbing a bite to eat easy. There are plenty of activities right on site and you can drive into down for additional activities.

If you have more specific questions, visit the Disney Vacation Club site or call Members Service at 800-800-9800.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
