Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Jamie! We are so glad you brought your question to us today.
As frequent visitors to Walt Disney World Resort, I think it is smart to be aware of how your visit might be different than what you are used to. It is important to "
Know Before You Go!" I'll be happy to help you understand some of these changes.
You'll notice
health and safety measures have implemented throughout the theme parks, including physical distancing markers as well as
hand sanitizer and hand washing stations.
All Guests entering the theme parks will pass through a contactless temperature screening tent prior to a "less contact" bag check security screening. Depending upon the location, you may be asked to remove all your electronic and metal items from your bag and place them in a clear plastic bag (provided), then carry your bag with you through the screening process.
Baby Care Centers are open, with limits on the number of Guests and physical distancing measures in place.
Guests may temporarily remove face coverings and rest at Relaxation Stations located in each theme park. Some locations are outdoors, and some are cooled indoor spaces. Relaxation Stations are noted on the park guide maps, which I have attached for your convenience. (Click for current maps of
Magic Kingdom Park,
EPCOT,
Disney's Hollywood Studios and
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park.)
Please also be aware that at this time, some attractions, shows, dining locations, and shops may remain closed or the experience may be modified. You can find more information about what to expect during your visit on this
theme park updates page. Scroll down and select "Read More" under a theme park icon to find the list of available experiences at that park.
Be on the lookout for some fun
character experiences to pop up during your visit! Characters appear in several locations throughout the day at all four theme parks for a socially-distant wave or photo.
Please feel free to visit the Moms Panel again as often as you like with any additional questions you may have. We are always happy to help.
