Hey there, Laura!
You came to the right place for help planning your magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
The first thing that you will want to do is to create a
My Disney Experience Account. Your My Disney Experience Account will allow you to keep all your plans in one place, including your theme park tickets and
dining reservations.
Next, you will need to purchase your
theme park tickets. Tickets are priced differently depending on the day that you are visiting and the age of those in your party.
Now, Laura, you will notice that you can get single-park tickets or something called the
Park Hopper Option. The Park Hopper Option will let you hop over to a different park later in the day, after 2:00 pm. If this is your first time visiting, I would recommend that you stick with the cheaper single-park ticket. There is so much to do in each park that you may not have time for it all!
The next thing that you will need to do is to make your
Disney Park Pass system reservation. A Disney Park Pass system reservation is required for entry, along with your theme park ticket, each day that you wish to visit. Think of it as Disney's way of making sure the parks do not exceed capacity. You can easily do this through your My Disney Experience Account. If you want to make sure that your days are available before purchasing your tickets, take a look at the
Availability Calender.
I do have one other tip for you. Before you head out, make sure that you download the
My Disney Experience Mobile App. This app will be invaluable when you are navigating your way through the parks. You can also check wait times, and even
mobile order your food!
Remember, we here at planDisney are always hEAR for you! Please come back if we can help you figure out where to play, stay, or dine at Walt Disney World Resort.
See you real soon!
