Is the new deluxe dining too much food? And do you spend too much time waiting for reservations?

    Hi Helen,

I love this question about the Deluxe Dining Plan!  I guess the question is who is going to be eating the food!

If I had huge eaters, I think the Deluxe Dining Plan is a great option.  It allows you three meals and two snacks along with the flexibility to grab and go or take advantage of table service dining. (I insist on one table service meal on vacation so I can decide if my princess are to pooped to party any longer.)  It also allows you to pay for everything ahead of time.

If you are not used to eating a main course, a dessert and/or appetizer (table service only), you may have a hard time eating the food offered and you might be better off going for the Basic Dining Plan which offers one counter service, one table service and one snack.

Another way to look at it is to research all the restaurants you want to go to on your trip regardless of money.  If you wanted to eat at a lot of high end restaurants such as Narcosses' and Brown Derby, it may be worth purchasing the Dining Plan because you may save in the long run.

    Bon appetite!
