I’m happy you’re here and can share more insight into these changes specific to the
Disneyland Resort.
Effective July 24, 2024, the current system Disney Genie+ service will cease to exist and will be replaced with
Lightning Lane Multi Pass, and the current Individual Lightning Lane will become
Lightning Lane Single Pass. You are correct though - at the Disneyland Resort, we will only see a name change. The rest of the service will remain the same, meaning we won’t have any advance reservation options like our friends at the
Walt Disney World Resort.
There’s a lot happening this summer at the Disneyland Resort, including
Pixar Fest for another month through August 4, celebrating friendship and beyond, and just a few weeks after that from August 23 - October 31,
Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort returns! If you haven’t already, check out
Oogie Boogie Bash - A Disney Halloween Party a special ticketed event on select nights during the Halloween season. Tickets for the event do tend to sell out before the fall, so definitely take a peek if you’re looking for some not-so-spooky fun! Follow
