We are from Nevada and want to purchase tickets for the end of June when out of state residents can go but we have a 12 year old not yet vaccinated for COVID, will he be allowed to go to Disneyland?

    Hi Bonnie,

Ohmygoodness! Isn't it fun just thinking about a Disneyland Resort adventure? How exciting to know magic and fun are waiting for you just around the riverbend!

While the state of California strongly recommends that all Guests be fully vaccinated or obtain a negative COVID-19 test before entering the theme parks, vaccines are not required and you won't need to show any proof of vaccination to enter. You will, however, find a Health Acknowledgment on the Returning to a Land of Magic page that all Guests are asked to abide by. That page has quite a bit of helpful information regarding the latest policies and procedures within the phased reopening, so I definitely recommend reading through it. From face-covering requirements to enhanced cleaning to physical distancing barriers and more, you'll find multiple changes in place to keep Guests and Cast Members as safe and healthy as possible. Since policies are always subject to change, keeping an eye on that page as well as the Disney Parks Blog will help you be a savvy Disney traveler! Of course, you're always welcome to stop by planDisney at any point, too!

Thanks so much for bringing us your great question, Bonnie! Whether you decide to keep your visit as planned at the end of June or postpone it a bit to wait until your son is vaccinated, I hope you and your family have a truly magical vacation!
