Patricia,
Unfortunately, those pins do not sound like they will be tradeable. According to Disney's pin trading etiquette guidelines (which you can find, along with lots of other great tips, at
www.officialdisneypintrading.com)...
"The main criteria to judge whether a pin is tradable or not is that it must be a metal pin that represents a Disney Event, Location, Character or Icon. Some pins from our Operating Participants are also tradable, but must represent the Operating Participant in a way that has a specific Disneyland®Resort or Walt Disney World®Resort affiliation."
What this usually translates to is that trading pins should be metal, and they should have a Disney trademark on the back. Those are the only two criteria I have ever seen a Cast Member pay attention to.
You can always bring the pins with you to WDW, and ask a Cast Member if for some reason they are indeed tradeable, but be prepared to learn that you can't trade them.
Sometimes you can find perfectly good tradeable pins on EBay at very reasonable prices, but unfortunately you need to be careful since not all vendors are as reliable as others. You will always be safe buying trading pins from a Disney Store, or online at www.disneyshopping.com, but you also will likely pay a premium for the peace of mind.
I hope your EBay experience doesn't discourage you from trading pins. It can be an awesome activity at WDW, and is especially a great way to help shy or less courageous kids come out of their shells as they interact and negotiate with Cast Members.
