Hi Chasity!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We have an airline that flies from our local airport into Orlando Sanford Airport, so quite a few of my local friends have used this route. We have done this once ourselves when our kids were smaller, and we opted to rent a car. There are a few options for families flying into Sanford, so you will have to decide which is the best option for you.
Lyft offers service from Orlando Sanford Airport and would be around $80-$100 each way for a larger vehicle. Unfortunately, Lyft does not currently offer car seats in the Orlando area, so you would have to bring yours from home.
Multiple limo or car service companies are available from Orlando Sanford Airport, and a search of your favorite browser should turn up a few good options. These are often around $150 each way, most include car seats and many include a quick stop at a grocery store to pick up supplies. The grocery stop alone could be worthwhile. If you can pick up drinks, snacks and breakfast items to enjoy in your room, you may make up some savings that way.
The last option is to rent a car. Most companies offer car seat rental. While it is a challenge to bring your car seats, it is usually more affordable to do so. Car seats are not counted in your baggage limit, and you cannot be charged for them by the airline if you check them. You could rent the car for the entire visit or do a one way rental for both ends of your trip. You could
rent the car for one day going to Walt Disney World and return the car to the
Car Care Center near the Magic Kingdom. Then you could do the opposite on the way home. The Car Care Center will give you a complimentary ride back and forth to your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel!
I wish I had a perfect budget-friendly and car seat included answer, but currently, those are the best options from Orlando Sanford Airport. I hope you find the best option for your family!
