We are needing a reservation for seven adults and three toddlers at Be Our Guest in 05/09 or 05/10. I put 10 people in and don’t see anything but as soon as I reduce the size of the party, there are tons of reservations. Can you help with getting us?

Bonjour, Sallie! Welcome to planDisney where you can be our guest anytime. Your springtime visit will be full of magic and macarons, so let's look at ways to book dining for your family when you head to Walt Disney World Resort.

You can book those reservations now since you are within your 60-day booking window. I chatted with a culinary Cast Member who said the maximum number of guests for a reservation is typically around eight at Be Our Guest Restaurant. Since you can only hold one reservation, my tip is to divide your party into two smaller groups and recruit another person to secure one reservation while you book the other. You can also call the helpline for assistance.

I did this recently for a party of 25, so we had four people booking at the same time from four different states! We were on a conference call to see availability and time slots, so we chose times as close together as possible. When we arrived at the restaurant, we explained that we wanted to be seated together. We waited a few extra minutes, but they were able to seat us at two large tables next to each other. Voila! While there's no guarantee, they will try their best to accommodate your request.

My favorite room at this restaurant is The West Wing. This room is mysterious and dark, and I love watching Beast's Rose here. I also recommend the Trout Almandine for your entrée, and watch for The Beast himself! He often roams the rooms of his castle as guests dine.

Sallie, I hope you can tie a napkin 'round your neck and enjoy your dinner on your upcoming visit. Please stop by planDisney anytime!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
