Hi Madison,
Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for bringing your frightfully scary question to us.
Well, boo to needing to cancel your
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party plans, but I have merry news for you! Though Special Event Tickets are nonrefundable and nontransferable, you can change the date of your special event ticket as long as another date is available or you can apply the value of the unused Special Event Ticket to the purchase of a future Special Event, including
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.
Madison, keep in mind that if the price of the new ticket is more than your original ticket, you will pay the difference. If the price is lower, you will not receive a refund for the difference. You will need to
call an Existing Ticket Cast Member to help you with the process of changing your ticket. I’m sure that they will be dying to have you give them a ring!
My extended family attends Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party every year because we love it so much. One of my best tips is to make an advanced dining reservation at
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa before heading over to
Magic Kingdom Park. The gorgeous Christmas tree and the unbelievable gingerbread house will get you in the holiday spirit and have you singing "We Wish You a Merry Christmas" all the way over to the Magic Kingdom!
Let us know if you have other questions or would like tips for making the most of your time at
Walt Disney World Resort; we are full of good cheer!
Wishing you many magical memories,
Shannon
