Hi there, Tifani!
Welcome to planDisney! Thank you for stopping by with your question.
I am elated to hEAR your family wants to visit
The Most Magical Place on Earth! I hope they’re getting ready to try all the delectable Mickey-shaped treats; Disney snacks are one of the first things I think about while planning. There is so much magic to experience and I'm so happy to help you get started!
Tifani, in order to purchase a Florida residential park ticket, you will need to provide any of the following:
Valid Florida driver’s license with a Florida address
Valid Florida state-issued ID card with a Florida address
Valid Florida-based military ID
You can also provide certain bills or your current mortgage statement from the past 2 months. You can find more information on all the documents you can use to
provide proof of your Florida residency here!
Tifani, it is so wonderful of you to want to purchase Walt Disney World Resort tickets for your family. I do want to let you know that in order for your family to be able to use
Florida resident theme park tickets, they would also have to be Florida residents since anyone 18 and older must provide their own proof of residency. However, if anyone in your family is under the age of 18, you can absolutely purchase Florida resident tickets for them, but you would have to be there to pick the tickets up. If the tickets you are purchasing are not Florida resident tickets, you do not need to be with them to use their tickets.
Once you have purchased the tickets and as your family prepares for their magical trip, be sure everyone downloads the
My Disney Experience mobile app. They can connect with you on your
Family & Friends list and it makes planning together so much easier!
Tifani, I hope your ‘Ohana has the most enchanting vacation! If you need any help planning trips to The Most Magical Place on Earth, we’re all EARS!
Aena
