Welcome back to planDisney, Savannah!
I’m so glad you stopped by with your question for us.
I bet you’re thrilled about
coming to The Most Magical Place on Earth! You’re coming at a great time because firework spectaculars have returned! I get choked up just thinking about watching
Happily Ever After fireworks show at Magic Kingdom again!
Savannah, the
most recent update regarding face coverings is that they are required in many areas for Guests who are not fully vaccinated and optional for fully vaccinated Guests except on most Disney transportation. The previous link has a
great checklist for areas where face coverings are required and where they are optional. For instance, all Guests must wear face coverings when on the ferry boats, Disney buses,
Disney Skyliner,
Disney Monorail, etc. Guests who are not fully vaccinated are expected to wear face coverings in all indoor locations and attractions. If you too have younger Mouseketeers in your party that are not eligible for the vaccine, I found mask lanyards to be helpful to put on their masks quickly without rummaging for them when we were about to enter indoor areas.
We can’t wait to welcome you to the magic, Savannah! Have an enchanting time.
Aena
