Hi Reed,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question!
We here at
planDisney focus on giving guests helpful tips and steps for a vacation, so unfortunately, I'm unable to help with the planning portion. However, I'm happy to share some tips with you that will help you get started!
For guests in the US, there aren't vacation packages that include flight options. So, for your flights, you'll need to purchase them separately through your preferred airline. I suggest beginning to look for the flights now, because as you get closer to the summer, the rates might begin to increase.
Now when it comes to tickets for your family and the accommodations, you can create one package that includes both! On the
Disney World homepage, at the top, you'll want to use the "Build Your Vacation" tool. Simply add in the dates for your travel, the number of guests and then select "View Rates". On the next page, you'll be able to see all the hotels that are currently available. Some of my favorites are
Disney's Pop Century,
Disney's All-Star Movies, and
Disney's Coronado Springs Resort.
After you select a hotel, you'll be able to select your family's tickets. You can choose a ticket for every day of your vacation or for just a few. Remember that Disney offers one Park per day tickets and
Park Hopper tickets (multiple Parks in one day). You can also do add-ons for the water parks and other adventures around the Resort.
Once you've found a package that works best for your family, if you're ready to book, go for it! If not, you can always come back to the website and do the process again, but remember that the hotel options are based on availability. The hotels can fill up quickly, especially during the summer!
After your package is booked, make sure to do your final step and book your
Theme Park Reservations! These are important because you need both a Theme Park Reservation and Park ticket to enter the main four Theme Parks. And remember, if you have any questions about the reservation process or the vacation process in general, you can always connect with the
Disney Resort Hotel Reservations help desk!
I hope this "Bit By Bryanna" helps you and your family as you start planning your vacation!
The Magic Is Calling,
Bryanna
