Ahoy there, Nicole! Thank you for cruising in with your question.
It's so exciting to be planning a trip on one of
Disney Cruise Line's absolutely
amazing ships. With so many
activities, incredible
dining experiences, and fantastic
entertainment, you may never want to leave.
Nicole, you do not need to be a United States citizen to travel on Disney Cruise Line to the
Bahamas or to Disney's private island,
Castaway Cay. In many cases, you just need a valid passport, however, it is up to the traveler to be aware of and have any other
necessary documentation based on their citizenship. You'll want to find out what travel documentation (visas, passports, etc.) is specifically required based on your nationality. Keep in mind, Nicole, that those requirements are subject to change, so you'll want to stay on top of one of the Bahamian government websites to make sure you have the proper documentation. Castaway Cay is subject to Bahamian regulations.
Another good place to keep checking is the
Know Before You Go section of the Disney Cruise Line website. Here, you'll find experience updates to things like the current health and safety protocols for sailing.
I hope you get to plan and enjoy a practically perfect Disney Cruise Line adventure, Nicole!
