Hi there, Tammey! As a mom of a son with tree nut and peanut allergies, I know navigating the theme parks can be challenging, but Disney strives to make it as easy as possible. I'm happy to help!
An allergic reaction is the last thing you want to deal with on vacation. The Disney Parks offer allergy-friendly menus at every table service and counter service location, listing ingredients for each menu item, thus allowing you to breathe a little easier at The Happiest Place on Earth! I suggest emailing the Special Diets team at Special.Diets@Disneyland.com, and they should respond within ten business days. Perhaps ask if they can recommend the best locations to avoid cross-contamination. For more information, visit the
Disneyland Special Dietary Requests webpage.
Some of my favorite Disney snacks are nut-allergy friendly, including popcorn, Mickey Pretzels, churros, and Dole Whips! Also, when booking your dining reservations online or via the
Disneyland Mobile app, look for the prompt to add your special dietary request. You are always welcome to
bring your own food into the parks if your allergy is severe. And don't forget to pack your EpiPen, just in case!
I hope this gives you some food for thought, Tammey! If you have any more questions, the planDisney Panel is all ears!
