Hi there, Lindsay! I'm so glad you stopped by planDisney with your questions. I'll be happy to clarify.
To better manage theme park attendance, Walt Disney World Resort has introduced the
Disney Park Pass system. All Guests ages 3 and up will need both an admission ticket and a Disney Park Pass theme park reservation to enter a theme park. A Disney Park Pass reservation is only required for the first park you plan to visit each day; no reservations are required to park hop. Guests who have tickets with the
Park Hopper Option may "hop" to another park after 2:00 pm when park hopping hours begin. In order to be eligible to park hop, Guests must first have visited the park for which they hold a reservation.
Theme park reservation availability does not indicate park hopping availability. I have visited Walt Disney World Resort on many days when no more Disney Park Pass reservations were available and experienced no restrictions on park hopping. In the event a theme park reaches full capacity, park hopping will be temporarily paused and a notification will be sent via the
My Disney Experience mobile app. Park hopping restrictions are rare, and to the best of my knowledge have not occurred at all so far in 2022.
Disney Dining Plans were paused after the temporary closure and reopening period of Walt Disney World Resort. While my understanding is the Disney Dining Plans will be returning at some point, as yet no date has been announced. Keep your eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for any news or announcements, and feel free to check back with planDisney again to see if we have any updates regarding Dining Plans.
Lindsay, please don't hesitate to visit us again if you have any additional questions. We are always happy to help.
