    Do you need to have a ticket to Disney to go to the ESPN Wide World of Sports to view a competition?

    Hiya Liz!

    I'm so glad you stopped by the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

    The ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World Resort has awesome facilities for athletes of all ages! I love that family and friends can cheer our favorite athletes on during competitions. 

    You do not need a Theme Park ticket to go to ESPN Wide World of Sports but you will need to purchase admission to the complex. They have a ticket booth on site where you will be able to do so, and there isn't a way to purchase ESPN Wide World of Sports tickets in advance. It would have to be at the gate upon arrival. 

    I like to scout out all the places I can eat wherever I go, and I'll be happy to tell you the complex has two really great options. The first is ESPN Wide World of Sports Grill, where you and your party can sit and relax while watching widescreen televisions with pizza, wings, burgers, salads, and more. In a hurry? Not to worry, you can grab a yummy pretzel at Wetzel's Pretzels!
