Hey Elizabeth! Welcome to planDisney. We’re so happy you stopped by to bring us your question.
Elizabeth, as a fellow Floridian, I totally get the convenience of wanting to park at a
Disney Resort hotel, even if you’re not staying overnight. The good news is that you can visit the resorts for dining, shopping, and recreation, and in most cases, you’ll be able to park there as well.
Complimentary standard self-parking is available for day Guests enjoying these resort amenities.
That said, some resorts, especially the ones closest to the parks (like Disney’s Contemporary Resort or Disney’s Polynesian), can have parking restrictions. However, if you plan on
dining at one of the amazing restaurants within the resort you wish to visit, guests with dining reservations at table-service restaurants are able to park while they enjoy their meal.
Something to keep in mind: while there’s no strict time limit for how long you can stay, resort parking is meant for those enjoying that specific hotel. That means parking at a resort just to hop over to a theme park isn’t permitted. If you’re headed to the parks, it’s best to use the standard theme park parking or Disney transportation.
If you’re planning to visit a resort just to explore, grab a snack, or soak up some Disney magic, it’s always a good idea to check ahead, as policies can vary by location and season. But with a little planning, you can check out all the pixie dust of a resort visit without any parking headaches!
Hope this helps! And if you have any additional questions, you know where to find us!
Wishing you Disney dreams and magical resort adventures. See ya real soon!
