Hey there, Tara!
Thanks for sailing by planDisney with your question! I'd be happy to help. My family recently enjoyed a
Disney Wish sailing and our kids loved the dedicated spaces on the ship. My daughter is a few years younger, so my son decided to split his time between
Disney's Oceaneer Club and
Edge in order to keep her company. He enjoyed the programming in both spaces but was really drawn to the video games in Edge. His main goal on the Wish was to enter the Oceaneer Club from the slide on Deck 3, which he thought was a hoot! I tested it out myself during one of the
Open House time slots and definitely agreed. He'll be officially aged out by our next sailing, but luckily both of our children will be old enough to spend time together with the older crowd by then.
While guests aged 12 and under can pre-register for Disney's Oceaneer Club, and will
receive a special wristband to enter and exit the facilities, you won't need to sign your teens up to spend time in Edge or
Vibe during your sailing. These
tween and teen spaces aren't restricted in terms of checking in or out throughout the day, so teens can come and go as they please during the cruise. We visited Edge with our son during an Open House window, so you'll be able to experience the space too!
All the activity schedules are viewable in the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App, so be sure you've downloaded that before boarding. You can also use the app's handy chat feature to keep in touch with your teens as they explore the ship.
Tara, if I've misunderstood your question or if you need any additional assistance please stop back and visit us again. We're always happy to help!
Bon voyage,
Amy
