Aloha Melanie!
Welcome to planDisney! I was a visitor to your beautiful state this summer when my family visited
Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa. We had an amazing trip celebrating my parents’ 50th anniversary! At that time a negative COVID-19 test was required for us to enter Hawaii. It was quick and easy, and we were happy to do our part to keep Hawaii safe and open!
The State of California
strongly recommends that Guests are either fully vaccinated or have a negative COVID-19 test before visiting the
Disneyland Resort. While this is excellent advice and is strongly advised, it is not required, and you will not be asked to show proof of either before entering the theme parks. If you elect to get a COVID-19 test before your trip, I would recommend you test 3 - 5 days before your visit.
While testing has not been required, I think the one thing I have learned as a nurse during this pandemic is that things are constantly changing. I recommend you continue to
check for updates before your visit, so you are prepared for anything that changes between now and your visit. As of today, please know that face coverings are required in all indoor locations but are optional in outdoor areas.
I hope this helps with your planning, Melanie! Stay safe, be well, and have a magical visit to the happiest place on earth!
