Courtney,
Thanks for asking your question to planDisney!
I have to say, if your 2-year-old already has a driver's license, I would be wildly impressed!
No, Disney does not expect you to bring any proof of age for children under 3. The honor system is pretty easy to follow at that age, so you are good just arriving and having a magical time.
I have been visiting for years, and back when my teenagers fell into the under-3 category, I was so impressed with all the things Disney did to make our lives more manageable. For instance, when we ate at the buffet at
Chef Mickey's, we did not have to pay for our girls if they were under 3. We were welcomed, in fact encouraged, to let them eat from our plates, knowing that a 3-year-old was hardly going to clear the buffet out. It made the visit both more affordable, and easier to manage.
BONUS TIP #1A lot of parents don't know about the availability of the
Baby Care Centers in each of the theme parks. These complimentary venues have changing tables, rooms for nursing, and a lounge area with couches and a TV tuned to Disney Junior. It can be the best place for a toddler to reset for the day.
BONUS TIP #2While you don't have to pay for an under 3-year-old at select Disney buffet meals, you do want to include them on your reservation request, so that you are seated at a table that has adequate room for your entire party.
