    Do you need to ride trams from VIP parking at Magic Kingdom? Thanks, June

    Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, June! 

    When you visit Magic Kingdom in your own vehicle, the parking lot is located about a mile away from the park itself. By purchasing Preferred Parking, you are able to park within walkable distance to the Transportation and Ticket Center where you will be transported to a place where you leave today and enter the world of yesterday, tomorrow, and fantasy. 

    The Preferred Parking lot is probably a 3-5-minute walk, at most, to the Transportation and Ticket Center, where you will have to ride the magical Monorail or Ferry Boat into Magic Kingdom. Because this lot is so close to the TTC, the tram doesn’t make a stop there. But Hakuna Matata! It really is a short walk away before you are transported to a day filled with magical adventures at Magic Kingdom.
