Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Rizza!
I am so glad you sailed back with another great question about your upcoming Disney Cruise. I am honored to be able to help you plan for a magical vacation!
As a guest of Disney Cruise Line, you are welcome to debark the ship at any port and create your own adventure. Reservations are not required for you to explore the port on your own.
I always recommend to my friends and family to book Port Adventures through Disney Cruise Line when planning to go ashore at port. Disney Cruise Line has researched and found all of the Port Adventures they offer to be safe and enjoyable experiences for their guests. Disney Cruise Line has negotiated all the terms of the Port Adventures for you including price, ticketing and transportation to make unfamiliar ports easy to navigate and explore.
Booking
Port Adventures through Disney Cruise Line also helps to make your vacation worry-free. If your ship is late for any reason, your Port Adventures are adjusted accordingly so you don't miss your tour. Also, if your tour runs over, Disney Cruise Line takes the stress out of getting back to your ship as it will wait for you to return or cover any costs to get you to the next port. Reservations booked outside of Disney Cruise Line are not able to guarantee this level of service. Another great benefit of Disney Port Adventures are if for some reason your ship's itinerary changes, your reservation costs are fully refundable and not charged to your stateroom.
Other than the Salsa and Salsa Port Adventure I recommended previously, Disney Cruise Line Port Adventures also offer beach days, sports fishing, snorkeling, whale watching and dolphin swims!
Be sure to cruise back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with anymore questions. We are happy to help! Angie
