Hi Kristine,
Welcome to planDisney! I'm so glad you found your way to our magical little corner of the internet, and I'm ready to assist.
Theme park
reservation requirements changed earlier this year and procedure will vary depending on the ticket type you plan to use. Guests with
date-based tickets do not need to make separate theme park reservations to visit the parks. If you selected a start date from the admission calendar when purchasing your 2-day ticket, you most likely have this ticket type and won't need to take any additional steps.
If you want to be 100% certain you can attempt to make a reservation with your tickets. You'll first need to make sure they are linked to your
My Disney Experience Account (if you purchased online they should already be linked). Once that's done, you can
navigate to this page and follow the prompts. If your ticket type doesn't appear to pair with a date on the calendar then you should be all set. You can also
reach out to a Cast Member by phone who can review the details of your specific ticket and advise of any next steps.
I'm not sure when you're planning to visit but I also want to mention
upcoming changes to Lightning Lane Entry. Disney Genie+ Service will be revamped and rebranded to
Lightning Lane Multi Pass on July 24, 2024. You'll want to read up on the process so you are prepared to purchase and begin planning before your arrival, should you decide to utilize the system on your next visit. You are also welcome to come right back here with any additional questions.
Kristine, I hope this was helpful. If we can offer any more advice or recommendations don't hesitate to let us know. Wishing you a magical visit!
Magic and memories,
Amy
