Jambo Marlena,
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park has to be one of the most beautiful parks I have ever seen and continues to grow into a naturally creative and artistic wonder. Home to some of my favorite rides, safaris, shows, food and libations, if you are a thrill-seeker, wildlife lover, explorer, foodie and love a good Disney show, then Welcome to Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
Guests wishing to enter any of the four Walt Disney World Theme Parks MUST make a
Disney Park Pass reservation. Prior to purchasing a Walt Disney World Theme Park ticket check the
Theme Park Availability calendar to see if Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park is available for the dates you are interested. If so, immediately sign into your My Disney Experience account, purchase your tickets and make your Disney Park Pass reservation because availability can change and is limited. Once completed you are set to begin planning your day at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park.
I recommend arriving prior to Park opening and immediately make your way to The World of Avatar and explore the world of Pandora on the
Avatar Flight of Passage and cruise the
Na’vi River Journey. These Must-Ride attractions are very popular and are worth arriving early for. Afterward, take in the morning routines of some incredible creatures on the African savanna and board the
Kilimanjaro Safaris. I have ridden this so many times and each time love experiencing the animals in an open-spaced setting as they roam free. And if you dare to take on the Yeti then be prepared for some tumultuous twists and turns on
Expedition Everest. And personally, as I trek through the day, I love snacking on the exotic cuisines you can experience throughout the park and am known to have a break and enjoy a libation at the Nomad Lounge or Dawa Bar. But truthfully, I can hardly wait for the return this summer of
The Festival of the Lion King, so stay tuned.
If I can be of any further assistance
feel free to ask and may your upcoming stay be filled with many magical, memorable, Hakuna Matata moments.
Amy M.
