Hi there Debra, welcome to planDisney! Thank you for stopping by with your fantastic question. How exciting that you have a magical adventure at
Walt Disney World Resort ahead of you! With so much to see and do across the four theme parks, you're sure to create unforgettable memories. I'd be happy to help you navigate the details of your visit!
Disney World no longer requires a
Theme Park Pass Reservation for most guests. Anyone who buys a regular date based ticket (either tickets only or as part of a vacation package) no longer has to reserve their park visit in advance. A date-based ticket requires you to choose a start date when you purchase. Theme Park Reservations are still Required for the following ticket types:
- Student group tickets
- Sports and Convention tickets
- Florida Resident Discover Disney Ticket
- Disney Military Salute Ticket
- Annual Pass
For admission types requiring theme park reservations, be sure to check
reservation availability prior to purchase. Please note that theme park reservations are limited in number and subject to availability. Availability can change until the theme park reservation is finalized.
I hope you find this information helpful, Debra. Thank you again for visiting planDisney. We'll see ya real soon!
Kay
