Do I need a reservation for Sunday dining Goofys kitchen

    Gawrsh! Hiya, Bernita!

Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question! Goofy’s Kitchen is one of my favorite spots to dine at the Disneyland Resort. I’ve gotten to take my little Mouseketeer there a few times, and boy, oh boy, we always have a blast!

Bernita, I’ll level with ya: although Goofy’s Kitchen is open to walk-in guests, which is super convenient, it’s a very popular restaurant since it is a character dining experience that serves guests who are both visiting the theme parks and those who aren’t. I personally love having this option to meet characters outside of the theme parks. It's like making it the highlight of the day without all the hassle of planning and packing for a whole day at the theme parks with the family. On Mother’s Day this year, my toddler got an epic 2-minute and 33-second hug from Minnie. My, oh, my what a wonderful day!

While writing this, I saw several reservations for a table of four available throughout the day for the date you indicated you wanted to visit. So, you might want to hop on those reservations before they disappear!

I hope this answers your question and helps you have a swell meal with your favorite Mouseketeers this month, Bernita. If you have more questions or need more tips or suggestions for your trip, just send me a direct message. I'll be able to respond even quicker now that you've got a friend in me!

    See ya real soon!
