Bright suns and welcome to planDisney, Renee. It sounds like a trip to Batuu is part of your plans for your upcoming Disneyland Resort visit, and I love to hear it. Let's make the jump to lightspeed and talk about the local cantina.
No trip to Batuu is complete without a visit to
Oga's Cantina. Not only is it
the place on planet for bounty hunters, smugglers and traders to gather and conduct meetings, but it's also a great place to refuel, wet your whistle and enjoy the musical stylings of DJ R-3X.
I'm pleased to share that you no longer need reservations to enjoy this local cantina. Oga's has transitioned to walk-up availability with a traditional stand-by queue. You can easily join the
walk-up list in the
Disneyland app. When you're nearby, open the app and navigate to the map. Next, tap on "Dining" from the top ribbon, then tap on the estimated wait time for Oga's, followed by the button to "Join Walk-Up List." Complete the prompts and then wait for a text letting you know your space is ready.
During my last visit here, my friend and I enjoyed a beverage and shared the
Batuu Brine Dewroots. This snack was so refreshing and really hit the spot on a warm day. When we were done, we were ready to continue exploring.
While you're on planet, be sure to take some time to explore the marketplace and surrounding areas. You never know, you just
might run into Leia, Han or Luke. Just be careful when wandering near Black Spire Surplus. If you sense a disturbance in the Force, Darth Vader might be nearby.
Well, Renee, I hope this helps you feel prepared before you set out for your adventure on Batuu. Please come back to see us with any other questions that we can help with. Until then, I wish you safe travels.
'Til the Spire,
Michelle
