Hiya, Sara, and welcome to planDisney. I'm a Florida resident, too, and I'm also an Annual Passholder. Procedures for
theme park reservations have changed recently, so let's jump right in to see your options for accessing the
Walt Disney World Resort magic today.
Theme park reservation requirements depend on your ticket type, so I'll address several possibilities. If you still need clarification, feel free to call
Existing Tickets; they can give you an exact answer once they know your type of admission.
If you have a date-based ticket, a ticket you chose a start date for when you purchased it, you shouldn't need a theme park reservation today. Be sure you're within your use window for your ticket, and as long as
Magic Kingdom Park isn't at capacity, you should be snapping photos at Cinderella Castle soon!
If you're an
Annual Passholder, you will need a theme park reservation to enter Magic Kingdom Park after 2:00 PM today since it's a weekend, so long as your pass isn't blocked. Annual Passholders can enter any other theme park on the weekend after 2:00 PM without a reservation; Magic Kingdom is the only exception.
Be sure to
check the calendar to see those new
good-to-go days for Annual Passholders. These will be circled on the calendar, and passholders won't need theme park reservations on those dates. Today is not one, but there are two good-to-go days this coming week, and I'm taking advantage of both! They won't count against my reservation limit, so why not grab some extra park time?
Sara, I hope you can make your reservation and be strolling down Main Street, USA, soon. Please
stop by planDisney anytime!
Magic awaits,
Elaine
